Jorge Masvidal discussed multiple altercations he had with fellow fighter Kevin Holland in 2023. Masvidal stated that during an event he was promoting, Holland had been talking negatively about him to a mutual acquaintance. When Holland announced his plans to attend Masvidal's event, UFC officials pleaded with Masvidal to ignore him and avoid any conflicts, especially since Holland had a fight the following day. Masvidal warned them that if Holland attended, there might be a problem as he had his kids and entourage with him. After Holland attended the event, an angry exchange followed. Masvidal maintained that he was just working to provide for his kids and wasn’t attempting to interfere with Holland's fight. Following this, they encountered each other in Miami, where Holland negatively addressed Masvidal, but no physical altercation ensued due to security presence.
