Trenches News, a former friend and roommate of FBG Duck and his brother FBG Brick, shared his experiences with the notorious Chicago rappers. After serving four years in prison from 2016 to 2020 for battery, Trenches News revealed that his time in jail wasn't connected to the shooting incidents surrounding the FBG brothers. He also claimed that amongst the brothers, FBG Brick was the real gangster, not FBG Duck, contrary to public belief. Despite several attempts by Vlad to encourage FBG Duck to leave Chicago due to the escalating violence, FBG Duck insisted on staying, a decision that ultimately cost him his life. Trenches News expressed disappointment with the release of FBG Duck's controversial song "Dead B*****s," as it reflected a step backward for the rapper who had previously released the unifying track "Chicago Legends." Trenches News suggests FBG Duck released "Dead B*****s" under pressure from his crew.
