Former Grand Hustle artist DG Yola has been charged with murder.
According to the AJC, the rapper born Mario Talley, is a suspect in a string of shootings in the northwest Atlanta area that left two men injured and one man dead.
Talley was arrested Friday and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and attempted robbery. Police believe that Talley shot and killed Rodney Walker last Sunday in the Daron Village Apartments on Harwell Road. Police found his body behind the apartment building with multiple gunshot wounds.
The rapper, who had a minor hit with 2006's "Ain't Goin Let Up," is currently being held in a Fulton County Jail.
