Lupe Fiasco recently stopped by Hot 97, where he spoke to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Styles about his new single "Mission," which he says is a "therapeutic" piece. During the interview, he also got into a hot debate about Kendrick Lamar.
When asked if he was a fan of the West Coast rapper, Lupe told Rosenberg, "I've always been a fan of Kendrick, but I'm not a nut hugger like you." The conversation continued onto who had the best album of the last decade, with Rosenberg naming Lamar's "good kid m.A.A.d. city."
Lupe says that while the TDE team is the "illest" in the game, he thinks MF Doom is the best, and King Los, Cassidy and Logic are above Kendrick.
