Stevie J was arrested in Georgia for allegedly owing $1,107,412 in back child support for two of his children. TMZ obtained footage of the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star being escorted in cuffs from a house to a police car.
The music producer and his live-in girlfriend had a kid in 1997 and another one in 1998, and by 1999 Stevie was ordered to pay $6,600 a month in child support. The amount was raised to $8,500, but the reality star's former lover claims that he hasn't paid her since 2001, and the amount has inflated to over one million dollars.
According to TMZ, after Stevie is bailed out of jail in Georgia he'll have to face criminal charges in NYC. Check out the footage of his arrest in the above slide, plus documents related to the case.
