A judge has chosen to reject the appeal of Philly rapper Meek Mill.
Judge Genese Brinkley has decided to keep Meek behind bars until October. Along with denying the rapper's appeal, the judge has ordered the Philly spitter to attend anger management counseling in jail.
While in court today, Meek apologized for his behavior. At his defense, attorneys argued in court that for close to five years Meek has had a clean record with no new offenses.
Meek was sentenced to three to six months in prison for violating his probation.
Since his arrest, the forthcoming album Dreams Worth More Than Money has been pushed back to a later date.
