Troy Ave's manager Hovain Hyton has spoken out on rumors of the rapper's alleged involvement in the assault on OVO's ILoveMakonnen on Tuesday night.
The OVO signee performed his smash hit "Tuesday" at SOB's in New York. While showing love to the crowd, a man grabbed him off the stage and punched him. The man wasn't arrested for the assault but has been banned from the venue.
Since footage of the incident went viral, many people have speculated that Troy Ave and his BSB crew had something to do with the incident since the artists went back and forth on Twitter a month ago about unofficial remixes to "Tuesday."
Makonnen hasn't replied to the allegations but Troy's manager Hovain has, revealing in a tweet Wednesday afternoon that the artists hashed out their problems several weeks ago.
"Me @OvOJonnyRoxx and Drake worked this out the day after it happened the issue been dead. We had nothing to do with what happened to son."
Hovain also shared his thoughts to The Stashed on people connecting his artist to the attack, saying:
"I left all of that negative s*** alone," he said. "[We] were trying to get him on a remix of "All About The Money". It's just wack that any time something negative happens now, they think of us. People are going to believe what they will, but BSB had nothing to do with that."
