It seems that things couldn't get any worse for Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. With KD rarely seeing the court and Russell Westbrook playing out of his mind lately, things are certainly getting wackier, and it's definitely a weird feeling out in OKC.
Last week, OKC Thunder GM Sam Presti revealed that KD would be removed from basketball related activities indefinitely, and it seems like it's been all downhill from there.
As a result of soreness -- which intensified during workouts and slowed down his progression, Kevin Durant will be undergoing a bone graft surgery on his ailing right foot, and will miss the remainder of the NBA season -- including the upcoming Playoffs. Durant is expected to have the surgery early next week and is expected to return to basketball related activities in the next 4-6 months.
Now, we all know that KD has had a little issue or beef with rapper Lil' B (if you even want to call it a beef). As a result of their disagreement, Lil' B has claimed to place a curse on KD and his basketball career. Going back and forth claiming that the 'curse' has been dropped and then re-activated, could this so called curse actually be true for Kevin Durant?
If so, let's hope that KD comes back stronger than ever and returns to his MVP form.
Do you think the Oklahoma City Thunder can still make an impact if they were to make the playoffs?
