Game Being Sued by Cop He Punched During Basketball Game

Last month, while playing in a Pro-Am basketball game at Hollywood High School, Game got into an altercation with who turned out to be off-duty rookie cop Onyebuchi Awaji. TMZ has since reported that the Left-Coast MC has been suspended from his team while he's under investigation.

Now TMZ reports that Game is being sued for that powerful Mike Tyson inspired punch. Awaji claims the punch came completely unprovoked from the "My Life" lyricist and that he did nothing to instigate it.

Furthermore, the rookie cop claims that the hard hit have caused him brain damage. Adding to the incident, Awaji declares that Game ran away when he learned the authorities had been contacted.

However, sources connected to Game claim that the rapper was acting in self-defense; they say that Awaji threatened Game with a gun.
