Young Thug grabbed attention after releasing the artwork for his upcoming "Carter 6" album, which featured the Atlanta emcee standing nude with the title over his manhood. Complex reached out to the photographer, Sandy Kim, to get some behind-the-scenes information on the shoot.
Kim revealed that she initially asked Thug to go nude for the cover and said that the rapper wasn't game, telling her, "F**k no, I'm not getting naked, you get naked!" The photographer was passionate about her vision and got nude, with Young Thug following her move.
When asked about the idea behind the project Kim said, "A lot of the concept was from Thug. If he didn't have something like this in mind I don't think they would've reached out to me. There are more images to come, but you'll just have to wait until it drops."
