DJ Skee announced last night that Jay Z and Beyonce's joint album is not only real, but near completion. The pair also plan to release the project exclusively on Jay Z's TIDAL streaming service.
While TIDAL got off to a great start, greatly increasing its valuation overnight after its star-studded press conference, the company has stumbled upon some problems as of late, such as the firing of 25 employees and the replacement of the company's CEO. They also recently dropped out of the top 700 Apple Store apps while competing services such as Spotify, Pandora and Beats Music enjoy top 50 placements.
Hear DJ Skee speak on the new project and the future of streaming above. Do Beyonce and Jay Z have enough star power between them to save TIDAL? Sound off below.
