Mannie Fresh Gives Update on Lil Wayne's 'Carter 5'

Veteran producer, the acclaimed Mannie Fresh helped to cultivate the signature sound of Cash Money Records. Recently, the beatsmith sat down with Montreality to inform the public on the progress of Lil Wayne's 'Carter 5.'

When speaking about the status of Weezy's highly anticipated project, Mannie Fresh claims, "We kinda went back to that original Cash Money feel," adding, "like you know what I'm saying, like what you grew up on... there's mo' of that first 'Carter' feel."

Included in the interview are also Mannie's thoughts on why Hip-Hop needs Kanye West, Cash Money's greatest accomplishment, and how he felt earning his first large paycheck.
