Lil Herb's performance in at a popular bar in Gary, Indiana was cut short over the weekend when the rapper and his entourage got into an all-out brawl with some of the attendees.
The fight broke out during Herb's show at Hustle & Joe's on Saturday evening. A man who goes by the name of "Shoota Montana" shot the footage, and he explained exclusively to VladTV how the fight began. Montana says Herb was in the middle of performing the fan favorite track "Rolling" when a member of the rapper's entourage started pouring liquor into the crowd.
"The only reason why it happened, why the fight popped off was because one of Lil Herb's friends [started] throwing liquor on people," Montana said. "It wasn't cool. We were partying with them and one of his friends did that, another friend who was on stage with him swung at someone else [in the crowd] and that's when the fighting popped off."
In the above footage, bottles were tossed to and from the stage where Herb and his entourage, including members of his NLMB camp, performed at. The first assailant isn't seen in the a footage from the concert, where an estimated 300 to 400 people were in attendance. Herb was seen breaking up one of the fights and later joining the melee after someone in his camp was attacked.
Montana says the sole reason behind the fight had little to do with the rapper and more about the behavior of his entourage. While there were a few people on stage with water bottles, Montana says he's sure the alleged member was aware he had liquor when he spilled it into the crowd.
"He was doing it for fun," he said. "It's like when you're at a rave and they throw the liquor and all that s***, that's exactly what he was doing."
One man who is seen unconscious on the ground was allegedly struck by a liquor bottle. Montana is unaware if he received medical treatment. As a fan of the rapper's, he says Herb's shows are more normally calm than what went down on Saturday evening. Montana adds that the rapper is isn't the type of person to start a fight without any reason.
No arrests have been reported in the fight. Take a look at the footage above.
