The world has applauded Bruce Jenner coming out as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair, and Barack Obama is following suit in praising the Olympic legend for his decision.
The president applauded Caitlyn on Twitter, "It takes courage to share your story. Your story matters in the fight for LGBT rights."
Since her debut Caitlyn has been taking over the Internet, and she even surpassed Obama's former record of fasted gained followers on Twitter. In just four hours Jenner amassed over one million new followers, beating Obama's record by one hour.
