On Tuesday, revered New York rapper Pumpkinhead, who back in 2005 released the critically acclaimed album, 'Orange Moon Over Brooklyn', passed away suddenly from unknown causes.
Throughout his career the "Dynamic" lyricist worked with a veritable who's who of Brooklyn Hip-Hop including Talib Kweli, Skyzoo and others. After hearing the untimely news, both Pharoahe Monch and producer Marco Polo shared tweets to express their thoughts.
Pharoahe Monch wrote, "I'm completely devastated. RIP PH," while Marco Polo tweeted, "Today is a very shi**y day. "Just got word my brother Pumpkinhead passed away at 5:40am this morning. My condolences to his family...R.I.P."
