YG recently spoke out about his near-fatal shooting earlier this year, and the Compton emcee revealed that the incident was an inside job. The My Crazy Life rapper told Fader, "That was some inside type, somebody-was-really-coming-to-get-me type s***. It was like n****s knew where we was at, and they was coming to do what they was supposed to do."
He added, "I feel like this: Los Angeles County is sick right now. It's bad. Everybody mad out here right now. All the young motherfuckers, they getting money, they motivated. We had something to do with the because we camp up. It brought opportunity for motherfuckers and shed more light on the West Coast. The music shit start popping again out here...We got something to do with that. But at the same time, it's a lot of motherfuckers that's mad because they see what Im doing, and they want my spot so bad."

It has just been reported that Cali rapper YG was shot early this morning (June 12) at Los Angeles' Studio City.
According to TMZ, the "Bicken Back Bein Bool" artist was in the recording studio around 1:45 a.m. when he was shot three times in the hip by an unidentified shooter. Apparently YG was "very uncooperative" with police who were called to the hospital he was driven to after they found blood and shell casings at the scene of the crime.
Karen Civil (a close friend of YG) jumped on Twitter to let everyone know that as of this afternoon the rapper is "doing fine" and his injuries aren't life-threatening.
As of right now, the shooter is still on the loose. Stay locked into VladTV for more info on the shooting.
