Meek Mill offered up some advice for his close friend YG, who was shot in the hip three times today (June 12), and told him to "smarten up." The Philly emcee added that "We know what comes with it," which many took as haters coming with the fame.
The two rappers have collaborated several times in the past, including the "My N***a" remix and YG's 2012 standout "I'm a Thug," and have showed love by appearing at each other's concerts over the years.
After doling out advice to YG, Meek also sent out a subliminal tweet that seemed to pertain to the situation, "You can't b loyal to a wall.... B loyal to what's loyal to you....friends or family if you can't give me that in return I don't need you!"
