Back on January 10, 2014, Wiz Khalifa's uncle Imani Porter was fatally shot in the head at a Steak 'n Shake parking lot in Waterfront, Pennsylvania. Now both Michael Wolford and Jaron Young have pleaded guilty to third-degree murder charges, reports the Pittsburg-Post Gazette.
Their preliminary testimony suggests that Porter, Young, and Woldford were all seated in a car when Imani allegedy put heroin on the vehicle's center console, which Young reportedly tried to get for free. Chaos ensued soon afterwards, ending with a single shot from Wolford's gun that wound up killing Mr. Porter.
Both Wolford and Young faced a list of charges. In addition to third-degree murder, Michael Wolford also plead guilty to charges including firearm possession, conspiracy to commit robbery, and robbery. Jaron Young pleaded guilty to similar charges, with an extra count for another possession of a firearm.
Given that a remorseful Michael Wolford confessed to the shooting of Imani Porter, he currently faces a sentence between 30 to 60 years, whereas Jaron Young is looking at at least 12 and a half to 25.
