Tsu Surf, arguable one of the best battle emcees in the game at the current moment, came through to build with battle rap correspondent Mike Florence. In this VladTV exclusive he breaks down the difference between New York gang culture compared to New Jersey. The 60's representative also touched on the tragic murder of up and coming rapper, Chinx.
Tsunami Surf, who is no stranger to life as a gang member, gave an in depth explanation that most of New York City's sets are "homegrown" while gang members from other states may be representing factions from other areas in which they have no actual connections to. To give an example, the reach king explained how he reps a Cali set, but has ties back to the neighborhood unlike gangsters from other regions. He also stated that his hometown of New Jersey has a lot more California-based sets than New York, which he feels is important.
The subject of the murder of Chinx, a rising star in the rap game who's career was tragically cut short, came up for discussion. When asked about the dramatic situation, Surf revealed that he was supposed to meet the slain rapper at the studio on the night of his murder.
The clip closes out with Surf giving his opinion on The Game's recent arrest for the assault of a police officer.
