MC Inspectah Deck is having a ball with the other Wu-Tang members while performing at the Out4Fame Festival in Europe. It was there that VladTV met up with him last week and he spoke on how he and the rest of the Clan rappers squashed their feuds, what we can expect from his latest album, and who he listens to from the new generation.
Though at first he didn't like the new wave of rappers because he felt they were just talking about "a bunch of stupid s***," when asked who he's bumping these days, Inspectah Deck didn't surprise us when he put J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar on his list. "I listen to their music and I feel myself," he expressed to our correspondent - he even puts J. Cole over Kendrick Lamar due to Jermaine's longevity.
Deck also spoke on his new album "Every Hero Needs a Villain" with Boston's 7L & Esoteric. Together the three are known as CZARFACE, and according to Inspectah Deck and hip-hop will finally receive the jolt it's needed for years. "It's a lot of real hip-hop involved with this new album," he claims.
