Ever since Bobby Shmurda's bail was withdrawn in early February, the self-proclaimed "Hot N****" has remained behind bars with the rest of the GS9 crew. The members- including Rowdy Rebel - have over 100 charges combined, and today (June 25) they appeared in court for their first trial hearing.
All of the incarcerated members of GS9 were given a new trial date of October 5 by Judge James Burke at the Manhattan Supreme Court. The judge expressed his hope that it will be a "meaningful start date." Bobby - who is now being labeled as the "mastermind" behind the crew - was given an eight-year plea deal, to which he denied. The up and coming rapper has been charged with "multiple conspiracy counts, one count of reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia," according to REVOLT. They're also reporting that once he arrived he refused to acknowledge his family members and anyone from the Epic Records camp, and was "recently punished for allegedly receiving a sharp metal object from another inmate" on June 21.
Chad Marshall - aka Rowdy Rebel - has been said to have appeared in court this morning in a cheerful mood, telling the judge "morning, morning, morning" and sticking his tongue out to his supporters. Rowdy was also given a plea deal for three counts of conspiracy, one count of attempted murder, one count of assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon. His lawyer reportedly denied the seven-year deal.
