A$AP Rocky sat down for a Red Bull Music Academy panel in May, and the interview was released today, which showcases the Harlem rapper sharing his views on Atlanta rappers today.
While the "F**kin Problems" emcee admits that some of the dopest music is coming out of Atlanta today, but Rocky added that "all them n***as sound the same." He later clarified, "There are a few dudes who have they own thing, and they killing it. I'm not saying all Atlanta rappers sound the same. But for the most part they all have similar cadences, flows, and deliveries, and they even recycle the same lyrics."
Speaking more about Atlanta emcees A$AP Rocky also spoke on Trinidad James' rise to success, and he added that the "All Gold Everything" rapper "deserves a lot more."
"This kid comes out he has the biggest single and where is he now? Trinidad James is a very good person. He's a dear friend of mine. I think he deserves a lot more. I think he works hard. To be honest, I can't say he sounds like other n****s. Ima be honest with you. But where is he now? That single s**t don't mean nothing."
