During a recent sit down with VladTV, Lil Herb gave his thoughts on a recent tweet from fellow Chicago rapper Lil Durk in which Durk expressed that the style of new school Chi-town emcees is being copied by the rest of hip-hop, a post which Herb retweeted.
"I ain't really saying other people copying," Herb explained. "Because we set that type of lane -- that's why we do what we do, 'cause you want others to embrace what we doin'...you supposed to want people to embrace your s**t, you feel me?"
Speaking more on the subject, Herb said that he sees people biting his style as being a compliment. "That's why I started rapping, I want you to f**k with my s**t."
