WWE superstar Booker T took to Twitter today to speak on the Hulk Hogan "n-word scandal".
"I am shocked by the statements made by Hulk Hogan. It's unfortunate, but that's something that he's going to have to deal with," Booker T wrote in a Twitter post.
Booker T also spoke on how he used the word 20 years ago during a show for now defuct World Championship Wrestling, "20 years ago I made a huge mistake by saying something I shouldn't have on National TV."
The WWE has had a history of racially charged characters and storylines dating back from the early 80's. The chairman and CEO of the WWE Vince McMahon once said the n-word on live tv during a comedy skit with Booker T, "What's good in the hood, keep it up my n--ga."
