Ja Rule gave his insight into the Meek Mill and Drake beef, but touched on his own beef with 50, stating he won the first round.
The rapper, who will also star in an upcoming reality show on MTV, shared his thoughts on Friday's episode of Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne Tha God. Rule retracted some of his thoughts from Twitter where he believed the two artists should keep the beef on the records. He also explained how social media has lightened the beef and people are looking into the theatrics more than what the rappers are spitting.
"It's not just that," he said about the memes and social media jokes. "That's the part that bugs me out because you have someone that's insulting you and eventually these people are gonna be in the same room together. At this point, it's going to be tough for Meek [to come back.]"
He also spoke on his feud with 50 Cent, and said he wasn't allowed to say as much as he wanted to because of legal troubles with Murder Inc. Ja also believes he won the first round between him and 50 because he was more relevant than him.
"It was different back then. He was winning lyrically, but we were winning on the streets," he said. "Sure he had that record, but he couldn't come outside. People seem to forget. 50 came out with "How To Rob" then "Murder," but people never heard of him Round One goes to me."
Charlamagne quickly denied Ja's account of the beef. "Round one, maybe but he won the next eight rounds." Check out the rapper's response above.
