We're at a time in hip-hop where rap-beefs have been dramatically resurged, and every other week it seems as if a rapper is challenging another to a battle of bars. Most recently, emcee Hopsin and Funk Volume artists' Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright appeared on Sway's Universe, and the group is looking to put up half a million dollars to take on the best in the game.
In the 15-second clip, Hopsin claims he'll "literally" put up $500,000 for a battle between him, Jarren & Dizzy versus another label. When a correspondent throws out names such as Shady Records and Strange Music (who represents acts like Tech N9ne), the Funk Volume co-founder repeatedly says "anybody" can get it.
