Amber Rose kicked off her first annual "SlutWalk" at Pershing Square in downtown L.A., which drew a sizable crowd of supporters. The 31-year-old has spent most of the year campaigning for the event, which seeks to empower women about their sexuality while also breaking down stereotypes and double standards about gender.
Amber spoke to MTV the day before the event about what sparked the idea, "I deal with a lot of equality issues in my own life, and I wanted to make a difference any way I can. So basically me and my team put our blood, sweat and tears into developing our own SlutWalk to bring awareness to what's going on."
We've asked some of our female guests about their thoughts on Amber's movement, and many applaud it, including famed adult star Nikki Benz. The actress recently told us that she feels like she should join in on the SlutWalk after all the names that she's been called during her career, and Nikki added that there's nothing wrong with the way she's expressing her sexuality.
