Being one of the more conscious rappers in this day and age, Wale chopped it up with The Breakfast Club for quite some time during his latest visit. Aside from speaking on rappers he knows using heroin and letting Raven-Symone know she too would be unemployable if it wasn't for The Cosby Show, one of the more memorable parts is when he gave an opinion on the beef between Drake and his labelmate, Meek Mill.
Wale applauded Drake for putting out "the most respectful diss record" made by any rapper in addition to understanding why Meek didn't put anything out at first. "I honestly think he brought a pencil to a gun fight. He didn't bring a knife [but] a pencil...a piece of paper...You can't compete with somebody that got [those] types of relationships," he told the radio show.
Wale also added that he's called Meek several times since everything occurred over the Summer, but has yet to receive a response.
Hear it all for yourself up top.
