Migos' Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, had his bail denied for the third time since the group's April arrest on drug and guns charges.
While his fellow group members Takeoff and Quavo have since been released from jail, Offset's May 2nd jail altercation played a role in his bond being denied. Cephus was charged with riot in a penal institution and battery following the incident, and witnesses testified during the hearing, claiming that the rapper didn't incite a riot.
The judge said he would review jail surveillance before making his decision about whether to grant the bond, but he later denied the request.
Offset is currently facing charges of marijuana possession, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, carrying a weapon in a school safety zone (felony), possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, battery and riot in a penal institution.
