The Chiraq movie trailer was released yesterday afternoon (Nov. 3) and was well-received by most, but many Chicago rappers have taken to social media to express quite the opposite.
"That Chiraq trailer look like a Parody," tweeted Lil Bibby late last night. Bibby - like Chief Keef and Fredo Santana - is known for his musical contributions to the drill movement, and being that the term "Chiraq" goes hand in hand with the sound, he wasn't too pleased with the preview to Spike Lee's latest joint. The movie - which serves as more of a satire - does not feature any current drill artists, which may have prompted Lil Durk to tweet out "Respect Spike Lee but that don't look like a Chiraq film," which he later deleted.
