This year and for countless others, gun violence and senseless shootings have affected many Americans. The NBA has joined the anti-gun violence fight and is set to air a series of public service announcements during their Christmas Day games. Directed by Spike Lee the ads will feature some of the league's superstars alongside 35 gun violence survivors. The project is a collaboartion between the NBA and Everytown.org. Everytown For Gun Safety is a "movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities," according to its website.
