Big Sean is the latest celebrity to donate to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, and the Detroit rapper helped the cause by starting #HealFlintKids. The fundraiser teamed with CrowdRise to help families of children who have been exposed to toxic, lead contaminated water in Flint. It was also announced that donors who make a minimum pledge of $10 will be entered to win VIP tickets to a Big Sean concert in 2016, with five winners being chosen overall.
After donating $10,000 of his own money, Big Sean released a statement, "I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency. In recognizing the great work that the CommunityFoundation of Greater Flint Michigan has been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the children who have been hit the hardest receive the care that they need today and well into the future."
