Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon, a fourth year neurology resident at Jackson Health System was arrested for physically and verbally attacking an Uber driver in the Brickell area of Miami. Ramkissoon can be seen harrassing the driver in the viral video, and at one point she attempted to kick him in the groin before he pushed her away and she fell to the ground. The doctor also proceeded to get in the Uber driver's car and throw all of his possessions into the street.
Juan Cinco, the man who uploaded the video to YouTube, said Ramkissoon jumped in the back of the Uber that he called and refused to get out. After Cinco told the driver to just cancel the ride, the driver said he didn't want to drive Ramkissoon, which led to her getting beligerent.
Ramkissoon was put on administrative leave and she is being investigated, which "will determine if any disciplinary action will be taken, up to and including termination."
