Former Roc-A-Fella records rapper, Freeway, sat down on the Vlad couch and gave us his thoughts about Drake's and Philadelphian brethren, Meek Mill's diss records. Though Freeway agrees with those who believed Meek took too long for his counter attack, he adds that the 28-year-old could've went much harder lyrically.
"I love Meek and that's my man, I'ma ride with him because he's from Philly and he's my man." He continued, "He definitely could've went in and did more than what he did. Who knows, it's not over yet."
With the OVO rap star's "Back to Back" single hitting big on the airwaves and even receiving a Grammy nod, Freeway says he wasn't too impressed with the single, "Drake joint, it made a big impact, but it was light." He recalls violent rap beefs in the past, "You know when we was going through it with n*****, we was strapped up."
Ultimately, Freeway says he's glad the men managed to avoid any physical altercation, "I'm happy that it's staying on wax and it's not [violent]."
