If you're a fan of Love and Hip-Hop season six, you're not alone - the New York cast had 2.7 million viewers tune in during the season premiere, making it 2015's highest rated season premiere of a reality series aside from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. In the last two months viewers have been reintroduced to drama from L&HH's standout stars while newer faces try their best to also shine on the show. Case in point? Mariah Lynn, a Jersey City rapper who despite being dealt a bad hand overcame it all and made herself a part of the (G)winning team.
Throughout this clip Mariah Lynn recalls growing up with a mother who fell into drug addiction while explaining why she'd never turn her back on her loved ones. "I will never fully understand why, but all I can do is just be supportive and love her," she stated. After discussing her troubled past Mariah Lynn went on to talk about her work with New World Era Music Group and meeting her manager, Mista Coop. "You know I was dancing, so meeting Coop and signing to New World Era was a blessing for me because I literally shook my a** to pay for sessions," she revealed.
