Before naming his album The Life of Pablo, Kanye stirred up controversy by calling the album Waves, and while some thought that the Chicago rapper was paying homage to Max B with the title, French Montana revealed otherwise. During a recent interview with Hot 97, French told Ebro and Peter Rosenberg that Kanye didn't really know who Max B is. However, French explained, "once I gave him the homework behind everything, you know, we got it together."
Max B, who is currently serving 75 years on murder conspiracy charges, was featured on Kanye's latest project on an interlude track where he gives Kanye the green light to use the term "Wavy." Kanye also spoke with Max about helping him out with his legal situation .
