Jason Brian Dalton was arrested early this morning after being linked to several shootings in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The 45-year-old spread fear across the city after six were confirmed dead and three reported gun shot wounds last night in what the Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas is calling a series of "random" murders. "There is no connection between any of them, this all appears to be random. This is the worst-case scenario that any community can have," he relayed to NBC News.
The first shooting took place around 6 p.m. local time and continued on for four hours, according to Matyas. The last two - at a Cracker Barrel and Kia dealership - resulted in the death of four patrons and left two injured. Dalton now faces several first-degree murder and attempted murder charges during his arraignment tomorrow, February 22nd.
