Anthony "Tony" Burton, who played Tony "Duke" Evers in the first six Rocky movies, has passed away at 78. Besides Rocky, Burton appeared in "The Shining","Assault on Precinct 13", "The Toy", "Stir Crazy" and "House Party 2." Due to his failing health, Tony was unable to act in Rocky's latest movie "Creed", although his photo was shown on the wall in a scene.
Carl Weathers, who played Apollo Creed in Rocky, tweeted: "Sad news. RIP Tony Burton. His intensity and talent helped make the Rocky movies successful. #BePeace"
