Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews was awarded a $55 million settlement in a lawsuit against Marriott Hotel and Michael David Barrett, who secretly videotaped her undressing in her hotel room in 2009. Andrews filed a $75 million lawsuit against Marriott and Barrett, who found her room number through a directory within the hotel's house phone.
The settlement was split between Barrett, who is responsible for approximately $28 million of the lawsuit, while Marriott and West End Hotel Partners, the company that owns the hotel where Andrews was filmed, will have to pay her the other $26 million.
