Fresh to death!
In some Latin cultures it is customary to truly celebrate the death of a loved one as opposed to mourning them when death occurs. For a Puerto Rican family who recently lost a loved one due to gun violence, nothing was more important than to see their 26-year-old Fernando de Jesus Diaz Beato in his natural state.
Wearing a pair of Air Jordan 7 Retros, a Rugby polo, and khakis, deceased Fernando is captured on video sitting peacefully with his eyes open, legs crossed and hands placed on his lap during his memorial service. Fernando was fatally shot 15 times earlier this month in a neighborhood near San Juan, Puerto Rico.
