For some time now, Migos have pushed that they pioneered the dab movement in which many have participated in, from sports anchors and athletes to talk show personalities. Offset even told DJ Vlad the Quality Control crew came up with the dance. Recently, Peewee Longway took to Twitter to refute claims that Migos have been making about the creation of the dab, saying “Who the first one to say piped it up (ME)" he writes, "who the first to say dab (ME) Who is the real lobby runner (ME) retweet these #facts."
Peewee Longway came up under the same umbrella as the Migos while all of them were working with Gucci Mane before he got locked up. While Longway’s claims make sense, Migos did not take his statements lightly. The trio responded via Twitter by saying “#FACTS SINCE WE TALKIN FACTS .. Migos Gave U Life!!" the group seemingly responds on its official Twitter account. "GLOVES?! Let's Hit For Tha Dab!! Whoever Win Can Have The Dab!!" Then they took to Instagram, posting a photo of Offset holding up both middle fingers. The now deleted photo’s caption read “CLAIMING WORDS AINT HELPING CAREERS OR CLAIMING DA DAB S**T LAME MAKE A HIT N—A.”
