With her early 2016 hit looking like it'll last to be one of the hottest songs to bang through the summer, and cities, as was the case for her show in Providence Friday night [June 17], welcoming her with packed streets, Remy Ma's spirits were already all the way up heading into the weekend. But just when she might've thought they couldn't get any higher, enter 50 Cent, who it appears has kept his word; a word he gave the judge overseeing her term when she was in prison, vowing then that he'd be willing to promise her work should she be granted release.
"This man @50cent is so special to me; I don't even think he knows how special he is to me. When I needed people's support the most he didn't run away & pretend to be too busy like a lot of others," Remy wrote in the caption of a photo of her convening with Fif on Friday. "He took out time to write & sign not 1 but 2 separate letters in the hopes of helping me win my appeals when I was incarcerated."
Along with an expression of gratitude towards the former Terror Squad nemesis for keeping her spirits up during her six year bid, she broke news of their coming venture, writing: "Now let's get ready 4 my role on POWER." Remy has some experience on front of the camera as a cast member on the sixth season of Love & Hip Hop, but through 50's hit drama, she looks to expand her artistry beyond reality television and into the realm of acting.
