Recently, DJ Vlad sat down with Killa J, the SODMG member who was shot during a robbery attempt outside a studio he and Soulja Boy's team were in at the time. As the "Crank That" rapper wrapped up a late night session to start his birthday celebration and according to Killa J, he says he and one other person were the first ones to walk out and were approached by masked men with guns. Killa told DJ Vlad, they asked him for the bags Killa was carrying and demanded money. Right after Killa J said he swung at the unidentified man, he shot his gun and struck him in his arm. Fortunately for Killa, he only faced minor injuries.
Although there were too many unanswered questions regarding the incident regarding Soulja Boys and Sean Kingston's whereabouts, Killa says the gunmen were initially looking for Kingston and inquired about him during the stickup. When asked if Soulja Boy left the scene after hearing the shots, he says the studio was on lockdown, but the Atlanta rapper ran out armed to help him. "They tried to act like Soulja left me and s***, but when I got in the ambulance that's when he left. But, Soulja came out he heard the glass bust, then I seen Soulja running toward the noise; he came for the action." Killa explained, "He had his scrap with him, he came out looking for dude, but dude was already gone, though."
