Katt Williams has found himself in trouble with the law again, and this time, the famed comedian is reportedly being charged with misdemeanor battery.

According to TMZ, authorities were called to the Sportsmen's Lodge restaurant in Studio City, California after a female employee claimed that Katt attacked her. Police say the comedian felt like the woman was disrespecting him with the way she was speaking to him, which resulted in an alleged attack.

When police arrived at the scene, they saw visible injuries on the woman, which backed up her claims, and Katt was subsequently arrested. The New York Daily News revealed that the comedian was released from jail on $20,000 bail.
