Chris Brown was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon following his standoff with the LAPD on Tuesday (August 30). This comes after a woman named Baylee Curran claimed that the singer pointed a gun at her after she admired a piece of jewelry a friend was showing him.
LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez told reporters, "Mr. Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for ADW — assault with a deadly weapon." He added, "The investigation is still ongoing, the search warrant is s still being conducted and evidence is still being collected."
Chris' attorney, Mark Geragos, commented on the situation, telling HLN's Dr. Drew Pinsky, "My client's position is that we're coopering. There's no truth to it, and we're going to let it play out."
