49'ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick recently decided not to stand for the American national anthem in a show of protest during a pre-season game and has been facing backlash in the media ever since. From supporters of his stance to others questioning his racial identity, the quarterback has heard it all. Now, reports of backlash from un-named members of the NFL front offices are coming in. One member of the front office went on to call Kaepernick a traitor, saying "I don't want him anywhere near my team. He's a traitor." Another team executive said, "He has no respect for our country, f*ck that guy."
Since coming out and express dissent towards the national anthem, it is widely believed that Kaepernick may never play in the NFL again. Most of the executives asked about Kaepernick think he will get released by the San Francisco 49'ers. Team officials noted that they feel it will be a matter of time before Kaepernick is released from the 49'ers due to external pressure.
