It looks like Kevin Durant is trying to catch up with Chris Andersen and JR Smith's tattoo game, by getting his second massive tattoo of the off-season this week. Unless he wears his socks to the knee and wears his shorts low Durant's left leg will look like a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to Black music, as the latest piece of work is dedicated to 80's funk star, Rick James.
The generally conservative style Durant drew curiosity from fans earlier in the summer when he showed up to Team USA's basketball camp with a tattoo of Tupac on his calf. At the time he mentioned being "supremely impressed with Pac's mind at such a young age." Durant had the Rick James depiction added to his thigh. There is also ink representing the Wu-Tang clan on the leg.
Each of Durant's three tattoos was done by the famed artist, Steve Wiebe of Golden Republic Tattoo in British Columbia.
