While Teacher Bae, aka Patrice Brown, continues to get criticized over her "tight" outfits, the aid is also defended by those who say she is being body shamed and also voiced sexism after photos of attractive male teachers began to circulate without any backlash. Memes in defense of Brown began circulating after a picture of a white woman wearing a similar dress affirmed she could get away with the attire because she wasn't as curvy. The woman, Melissa Esplinsaid noticed the point made by Twitter user @stackztootrill, who started to get attacked for the post. Esplinsaid responded, "I think you made a totally valid point, it's just so many assholes troll the Internet. I was victimized on a revenge porn site two years ago (long story - search good morning America and revenge porn if you want the low-down) so the "hey lady messages on Insta, FB and Twitter are boiling my blood more than anything."
