Yesterday, Monday, January 16th, Daryl Campbell, aka hip-hop podcast host Taxstone, was arrested in connection to a May 2016 shooting at Irving Plaza during which rapper Troy Ave was wounded and one other killed.
A federal complaint now says that DNA believed to belong to Campbell has been found on the trigger, hand grip, and magazine of the semiautomatic handgun used in the Irving Plaza shooting. The complaint continues to claim that Campbell had the gun before the shooting, and videos put him in the green room at Irving Plaza just before the shooting occurred.
Sources previously reported that Campbell's arraignment is scheduled for today.
