22 Savage announced to fans on Monday (February 6), that he is changing his name to "Young 22." All of the Louisiana rapper's social media pages reflect the name change, which was first announced on Snapchat.
No word on if this will change his ongoing beef with 21 Savage, who was none too happy about the comedian-turned-rapper parodying his style and name. 22 even tried to settle the beef by getting in the ring with 21 Savage, as he told his Twitter followers, “Who wanna see 21 get knocked out by BIG 22. If he win I’ll change my name.”
While 21 Savage made it clear that he's not stepping in the boxing ring, 22 Savage eventually ended up changing his name.
